Before first use, rinse the filter wool under running water. Do not use soap or detergent. Insert the filter wool into the water bowl as shown. If you hear any abnormal noise, remove the wire holder and power head. Check the impeller and clean the power head. Reassemble the power head back into the water bowl. When in use, ensure the water level is between the Max and Min indicators. The minimum water level should not be below the power head. Low water levels can cause noise or damage the power head.
